Beauty Sleep for Beautiful Hair



Are you getting enough beauty sleep? Not only is getting enough sleep important for your body, but it plays an important role in the growth of your healthy hair. Sleep allows the body to repair and regenerate. And it's no exception for your hair.

If you're experiencing hair loss, you may need to reevaluate your sleep routine. Your hair greatly depends on the proper release of growth hormones. 10pm to 2pm is often called the golden hour because that's when your growth hormones are released the most. Hormonal release comes to a peak around 1am to 2am. That's why it's ideal to fall asleep by 10pm, no later than 11pm.

Well, wouldn't it be the same if you just catch up on lack of nighttime sleep during the daytime for 1-2 hours? Many people may think that this is the solution. But in fact, it's important to get enough quality sleep for proper hormonal generation. 1-2 hours of napping in the daytime is not considered quality sleep. Plus, napping in the daytime may make you go to sleep later at night, inviting a vicious cycle of sleep deprivation.
